I believe that what makes this a good photograph is that symmetry. Not just that but the main subject the house is following the rule of thirds. Also the photograph draws the question what is this house just doing in the middle of no where? At least thats what I see and I believe if a photograph draws a question most the time its a good photograph and in this case I believe so.
